Sheesh

New puppy is quite a handful. I have said in recent years that I would never have another puppy. HAHA. DANG! On another note we now have all this Hi-Def on the TV. When I see the old movies they almost seem to have an amateurish look to them, as do some of the new shows also. It's difficult to get used to seeing everything that looks like it was filmed on a soap opera set. HD is just too digital and too perfect, which is the same argument that lots of folks had when CD's came out. Just sounded fake. I guess I will always be an analog guy.

Tiki bar

Got an old Tiki bar out by the pool now.

Boat SHEESH!

Our pond is a mess and needs lots of work. We had a Jon boat which was about as worthless as ...well whatever. So we found an old party barge which is a great platform to work from. It's 24 feet long and 8 feet wide and has an upper deck that is 8 by 12. Lots of room for suntanning cuties when we aren't workng it. Power is from a Minn Kota 55# motor. Really just a large pond but just being out on the water is great. We have alligators, otters, talapia,Florida gar,bass, turtles, Asian swamp eels, mallards, pekin, and mottled ducks. Nesting pair of juvenile Great Blue Herons and an old Blue Heron. A commorant, various shore birds like egrets and curlews. It's just a wonderful micro nature preserve. More to follow. Stay tuned.
